The terms governing your use of the Practice Arena and Abacus World Championship.

1. Use of the Practice Arena
The Practice Arena is provided free of charge to help students prepare for the Abacus World Championship. Results from practice rounds are saved to your account so you can track your own progress over time, but they are separate from — and never count toward — official tournament placement or results. Please use the Practice Arena respectfully: don't attempt to disrupt the service, access other users' accounts or data, or use it in a way that isn't age-appropriate for the students using it.
2. Account & Eligibility
Accounts may be created by a student directly or by a parent/guardian on a student's behalf. Your assigned competition level is determined automatically by the age provided at signup — it is not self-selected. If you believe a level assignment is incorrect, use "Request a Level Review" on the My Leagues page rather than creating a new account. Please provide accurate information when registering.
3. Data & Privacy
We collect the information needed to run your account and assign your level: your email, display name, and age, plus optional details you choose to add (phone number, guardian name, school, address). We also store your practice results so the My Progress page can show your own history. This information is used only to operate the Practice Arena, My Account, and the Abacus World Championship — it is not sold to third parties. A parent or guardian can request to see, correct, or delete a child's data at any time; account and data deletion is available directly from the Delete Account page, or by contacting us.
4. Exam Conduct & Fair Play
The Practice Arena itself is not proctored and is intended for preparation only — nothing done here is graded or monitored for competition purposes. The official, graded round of the Abacus World Championship is subject to its own conduct and fair-play requirements, which every competitor is expected to follow.
5. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or fair-play expectations. You (or a parent/guardian, for a student account) may delete your account at any time from the Delete Account page — this permanently removes your profile and saved practice history, as described there.
6. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time as the Practice Arena and Abacus World Championship evolve. We'll make a reasonable effort to let registered users know of any significant changes.

Deleting your account will remove your profile, saved progress, and practice history within 30 days. If you've registered for an upcoming exam, deletion may affect your eligibility — you may want to contact organizers first.
