Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Global Genius League is run by Mentis Aeon LLP (LLPIN ADC-9584), a limited liability partnership registered in India (“we”, “us”). We run online competitions for children in different leagues, each with its own championship, together with free practice areas and the website globalgeniusleague.com. These terms apply to every league and championship. Details that belong to one championship only are listed in its own section below. By creating an account or paying an entry fee, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Accounts are created by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the participant, or by the participant directly if they are 18 or older. Whoever creates the account confirms they have the authority to do so and that the details given are true. Each championship places participants in levels by the rules set out in its own section; a level review can be requested from the account page. One account per participant.

3. Entry fees and payment

  • Practice areas are free. Entry to a championship carries an entry fee.
  • The fee depends on the family’s country and on the date of payment (for example, an early-bird price for a limited period). The exact amount and currency are shown on the championship page and in the account before payment.
  • The currency is set when the account is created, from the family’s location and phone number, and does not change afterwards.
  • Payments are processed securely by Razorpay Software Private Limited. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on their secure page; we never see or store them.
  • A championship place is confirmed only once the fee has been received.

4. Fair play

Every championship exam must be taken by the registered participant, alone, without help with the questions, and following the rules published for that championship. Exams are recorded on the family’s own device. We may review any result and may disqualify a result, or suspend an account, where the rules have not been followed. Our decision on results is final.

5. Results, prizes and certificates

Results are ranked per level as set out in each championship’s rules. Every participant who completes a championship exam receives an e-certificate. Prizes for top finishers are listed in the championship’s section. Practice scores never count toward championship results.

6. Refund and cancellation policy

  • All entry fees are final and non-refundable. This applies whether or not the participant takes part in the championship, and includes missed exam days, technical problems on the family’s side, and disqualification.
  • Entries cannot be transferred to another participant, another championship or another season.
  • If a payment was taken twice or by mistake, email us within 14 days and the duplicate amount will be returned to the original payment method.
  • If we cancel a championship and do not reschedule it, we will refund its fee in full to the original payment method within 14 working days.
  • A family may close its account at any time from the account page. Closing an account does not lead to a refund.

7. Delivery of service

Global Genius League is an online, digital service. Nothing is shipped except trophies and medals for top finishers.

  • Practice areas — available straight after sign-up, free of charge.
  • Championship entry — confirmed on the account page as soon as the payment is received, usually within minutes. A confirmation email is sent to the account email address.
  • Championship exam — taken online from home, from the account page, on the dates published for that championship.
  • Results and e-certificates — emailed to the account email address once results are verified.
  • Trophies and medals — shipped to the address given by the family, normally within 30 days of results being announced.

If a confirmation does not arrive within 24 hours of payment, email us with the account email address.

8. Abacus World Championship 2027

  • What it is — an online abacus and mental maths competition. Every question can be solved mentally; an abacus is allowed only in the rounds the rules allow.
  • Dates — 16–17 January 2027, online from home, in the family’s own time zone. One sitting of about 20 minutes on either day; one official attempt per participant.
  • Levels — five levels set by the participant’s age on 31 December 2026: Sprout (5–6), Riser (7–8), Sprinter (9–10), Ace (11–12) and Grandmaster (13+).
  • Entry fee — you can see the fee for your country on the championship page and in your account. Families who pay by 15 November 2026 get a lower early-bird price.
  • Rules — once you have paid, you can read the full Examination Hall Rules from your account.
  • Prizes — a trophy for the champion of each level, gold, silver and bronze medals for the top three in each level, and an e-certificate for every participant who completes the exam.
  • Results — announced in January 2027.

9. Our responsibility

We take reasonable care to keep the service running, but cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We are not responsible for problems caused by the family’s own device or internet connection. Where the law allows, our total liability to any family is limited to the entry fee paid.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms, for example when a new league or championship is added. Significant changes will be emailed to account holders. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
